Those who really know me know two things: I’m an OG member of the Beyhive and I love all things hair care. So when Beyoncé launched Cécred, I knew I had to try it. And let me tell you, I am happy to say it isn’t just another celebrity beauty brand that’s all hype. The products are actually backed by science and they work!
Amika is another brand with great products that work well with my hair. I was first introduced to the brand with their Soulfood Nourishing Mask. From there, I tried more of their products, and I can honestly say they have all been a success so far.
With that said, I don’t usually stick to one single brand. My routine is a mix of products I’ve tested and loved, and depending on how I’m styling my hair, I rotate between different lines. Two that have really earned a permanent spot in my rotation are Cécred and Amika.

How I Decide Which to Use
- When I want strength + repair → Cécred
- When I want hydration + curl definition → Amika
Mixing both gives me beautiful, long-lasting, and easy-to-manage hair.
Final Note
My routine includes other brands as well, but Cécred and Amika are two that I keep coming back to. They complement each other perfectly with one focused on strengthening, the other on hydration and styling.
